An AI feature on the Galaxy S26 has very limited availability

During the announcement of the Galaxy S26 series last month, Samsung showcased a new Galaxy AI feature called Ask AI. While the feature could be useful for researching and compiling information across webpages, its usefulness is limited because it is currently available only in a few markets.

Ask AI is integrated into the Samsung Browser and is currently available only in South Korea and the United States. The feature allows users to compare information from multiple open browser tabs and compile it in one place. For example, users can compare hotel prices from several websites or look at restaurant reviews for a particular type of cuisine across different tabs and organize that information into a table for easier reference.

The feature is powered by AI algorithms and was developed in partnership with Perplexity. It can also extract relevant information from webpages in your browsing history to help summarize or organize data more efficiently.

It is also unclear whether the feature will be released for older Galaxy devices that already support Galaxy AI features. Hopefully, Samsung will expand the Ask AI feature to more countries and languages in the coming months with an update to the Samsung Browser.
